October 5, 2006 - DeKalb County's Debi Palmer honored for service
Debi Palmer, a 29 year veteran of DeKalb County Public Safety, was honored by the Police Department and the City Council for her service to the City and named an "Honorary Police Officer" of Stone Mountain Police.   When the Stone Mountain Police Department decided to use DeKalb County's dispatch center, Debi was instrumental in making the changeover  nearly seamless.  She has since continued to deal with daily issues that pop up to ensure our officers stay safe.  Pictured left are (l to r) Lt. S.E. Manning, who presented the award, Debi Palmer, and Interim Chief Nicolas Marinelli of DeKalb County Police.
