Incident Reports and Accident Reports
are generally available three to five business days after the report
is made. For copies of reports, the cost is $5.00 and can be
obtained at our office Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm. To
obtain a report by mail, send a check or money order for $5.00 to
the address below.
Be sure to note the case number or other pertinent information to
help us locate your report (victim, date, drivers, etc.).

Driver License
Information
Driver license information is available through the Georgia Department of
Driver Services.. For more information, contact the DDS at

www.dds.ga.gov. The DDS
website contains valuable license and vehicle registration information.
Fingerprinting
Fingerprinting
for application purposes is performed
Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm.
It is best to call ahead to make sure personnel are available to provide
this service. The cost is $25.00 for the first two cards, and $10.00 for
each additional card. We return the cards immediately to you.
We do not submit the cards to GBI or FBI.
Criminal
History Checks
Criminal
history checks are performed every weekday from 9am until 4pm. You must bring current government issued photo identification
(driver’s license, passport, etc.). This check lists offenses for the State of Georgia only. The
cost is $20.00.

Histories are only available through the Georgia Department of Driver

Notary
Public Services
A
notary public is available most days. It is best to call ahead to
ensure a notary is on duty. There is a $4.00 charge for notary services.
Vacation House Checks
We will check
your residence several times daily while you are out of town. House
checks are performed free of charge to City of Stone Mountain residents while away on
vacation or business. Request forms are available at our office.
